         Yes, you can make all of the aforementioned characters above, but the Spartan one will end up having a goofy flag on the end of his spear. As Josh and I finished making Lara Croft and Leonidas, we decided to test them both out. So we fought on a small island type level, Josh as Lara and I as Leonidas. It was a heated battle with 2 wins for each player and it all came down to one round to decide the best custom character. After dwindling each other's health to near death, I had to make my move. So I lured him close to the edge, stepped to the side, and while yelling a very cliche "THIS IS SPARTA!" I kicked him off the edge. It was cool.


        You can also make Freddie Mercury and Paul McCartney duke it out in a battle for 70's rock star supremacy. As a whole, Soul Caliber IV isn't all that fantastic. It's basically a revamped rendition of the last three games; cool graphics and a few different moves don't make a new game. It is, however, fun as hell to goof around and  make nonsensical match ups.


So there's no confusion/lawsuits: yes, the background of the third panel is from Soul Caliber IV.
